Job Summary
Associate will work in the stockroom and be responsible for a variety of tasks including kitting parts for production and Contract Manufacturers serving internal customers at the stock window cycle counting parts moving and shelving material and counting parts accurately physical inventories. This position is 5-days 40hrs. Overtime is available on weekdays and weekends when needed. This role requires strong job performance and excellent attendance. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately kit components for manufacturing orders
- Physically stock shelve or relocate components parts sub-assemblies
- Complete all required paperwork transactions for receipts and withdrawals
- Responsible for inventory control and accuracy maintain orderly stockroom
- Complete various inventory transactions in company MRP system/database
- Provide good customer service for window/counter inventory/parts requests.
- Accurately perform cycle count and year end physical inventory
- Ability to collaborate with team members in the stockroom and across manufacturing
- Good attendance is required; on time to shift follow time and attendance policies
- Wear required PPE
Qualifications :
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic experience with Microsoft Excel OneDrive Word
- Experience and ability to use MRP database for material transactions
- Able to perform accurate counts and use of scales as required
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to follow instructions and act on priorities
- May use material movement equipment such as a pallet jack
- Ability to speak read and understand English
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
