Job Summary
The role
A summer internship is the perfect way to learn about working at Clifford Chance and meet our people. This opportunity not only allows you to gain work experience in a first-class working environment but it is also often the first step in your career path as a lawyer.
Dates for the 2026 schemes are as follows:
- 1 June to 26 June 2026 (Year 3s and 2s)
- 6 July to 31 July 2026 (Year 2s only)
Applications will close on 30 January 2026. We do not review applications on a rolling basis.
Who you will work with
During the four-week scheme you will follow the life of a lawyer at Clifford Chance closely you will sit in two different practice areas working with our lawyers on real live client projects. You will be treated as a part of our team and given opportunities to demonstrate your ability.

Qualifications :
Eligibility
To apply for a summer internship you must be eligible to be admitted to the Singapore Bar. Please refer to the Singapore Institute of Legal Education (SILE) for more information on the approved universities and the qualified person and admission requirements. You must also be able to start your Practice Training Contract with Cavenagh Law LLP in January 2029.
