In this role you will be entrusted with the critical task of managing PSI operational presence in South Korea and will be responsible for all aspects of operational and strategic management.
Location: Seoul South Korea
The scope of responsibilities encompasses the following crucial functions:
- Propose country development strategy lead the planning and execution of Clinical Trials in the country.
- Set country growth objectives in line with corporate objectives.
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the company in Japan. Oversee corporate and project-related progress in South Korea.
- Communication point to investigators regulatory and ethics authorities clients and vendors for various project-related matters.
- Line management of staff in South Korea.
- Coordination of resource allocation to projects and utilization monitoring.
- Oversight of the staff workload performance appraisal and career advancement.
- Training coaching and mentoring the team.
- Hiring onboarding and integrating new employees.
- Ensuring compliance with GCP standards and internal/external procedures.
- Development and implementation of quality control.
- Management of the budgets on the country level.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for this critical role must possess:
- College or University degree in Life Sciences
- Demonstrated Operations experience in a CRO (preferable) or a pharma company
- Experience with clinical research sites RD processes legal regulatory and ethics in Japan
- At least 10 years experience in Clinical Research
- Experience in people management and leadership
- Bid defense experience is preferable
- Financial knowledge and demonstrated ability to manage budgets
- Excellent English
- Communication and negotiations skills
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
- Ability to travel internationally
- Strong time management organizational leadership planning and presentation skills result-oriented approach
