About the role:

As a Service Lead in Community youll lead a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality person-centred services that empower people with disabilities to live inclusive and meaningful lives. This is a hands-on leadership role where youll work closely with participants families and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment.

What Youll Be Doing and What youll Bring:

Youll be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team ensuring services are delivered safely effectively and in line with Arumas values. Youll also play a key role in service development compliance and continuous improvement.

Were looking for someone who:

  • Experienced & Qualified: Minimum 3 years in disability services with a relevant qualification in Individual Support or related field
  • Strong Communicator: Builds trust through clear communication and strong people skills
  • Team-Oriented & Independent: Works collaboratively while confidently managing tasks solo
  • Respectful & Values-Driven: Patient inclusive and committed to human rights-based person-centred approaches
  • Proactive & Reliable: Organised dependable responsive and gets on with the job
  • Willing to Learn: Open to feedback and continuous development
  • Emotionally Intelligent: Brings life experience and empathy to participant and team interactions
  • Leadership-Ready: Skilled in mentoring staff managing service delivery and engaging families
  • Compliance-Focused: Understands safeguarding NDIS standards and legislative requirements with support from us every step of the way
