What will I be doing

The Room Service Waiter/ess is responsible for delivering food and beverages to guest rooms in a courteous professional and efficient manner. The role requires attention to detail excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and accurately as per the orders placed by guests.

• Provide exceptional service ensuring guest satisfaction by responding to requests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Set up and clear trays tables or carts in guest rooms ensuring cleanliness and organization.

• Maintain knowledge of the hotels menu and any specials or promotions.

• Ensure all guest requests and orders are handled promptly and efficiently including dealing with any complaints or special requests.

• Handle cash and credit card transactions following hotel policies and procedures.

• Ensure that all room service orders are correctly prepared and presented in a timely manner.

• Check that room service trays and carts are removed from the rooms in a timely fashion maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

• Assist in the setup and preparation of room service areas and delivery stations.

• Comply with all hotel safety and hygiene policies including the safe handling of food and beverages.

• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times representing the hotels brand and standards.

• Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth coordination of orders.
