The Figure Model will pose for the figure drawing class in the Art & Art History School of Design & Communication. Models will provide a variety of poses for life drawing and anatomy studies. The position requires maintaining poses for extended periods collaborating with instructors on pose selection and supporting an inclusive respectful studio environment.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Comfort with posing clothed or unclothed as requested by the instructor.
Ability to maintain still poses for extended periods (up to 20 minutes at a time).
Reliability and punctuality.
Applicants must be eligible for Federal Work-Study at the time of hiring and throughout employment.
Prior figure modeling or performance art experience.
Background in art dance theater or related field.
Strong sense of body awareness and stamina for holding poses.
