PROVAIL has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing positive behavior support programs for individuals with diverse needs primarily focusing on those with autism spectrum disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. We are seeking a flexible thinker who can take principles of effective behavior support strategies and modify and apply them to adults living in the community to help individuals maximize their experience of inclusion.
This is a full time position that typically works Monday-Friday during normal business hours but may require some need for occasional nights/weekends based business needs.

What youll do:
- Assessment and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify behavior patterns and contributing factors.
- Utilize various assessment tools and methodologies to gather data on client behavior.
Program Development:- Develop individualized evidence-based behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on the results of assessments.
- Use existing behavior support materials that have been developed by outside professionals and translate them to be effective in a community environment.
Implementation and Monitoring:- Working with Quality Assurance staff and Program Managers with input from Direct Support Professionals to implement plans.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans through on-site visits and observation.
Training and Collaboration:- Train DSPs on approved behavior mitigation strategies like Right Response or Therapeutic Options.
- Oversee the performance of DSPs who are working towards Behavior Technician or similar certification.
Professional Development:- Stay current with relevant DDA policy and theory as it relates to working with individuals with behavior support needs. Maintain BCBA certification through ongoing professional development activities.
What youll bring:
- Masters degree in behavior analysis psychology education or a related field.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Proven experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive for work including valid drivers license in good standing and proof of auto insurance.
- Certifications:
- Valid BCBA certification.
- Licensure:
- Any additional state-specific licensure or certification requirements.
