Current and valid license with Board of Allied ProfessionalsPublic school experience preferredResponsibilities:Provide occupational therapy services to students by direct or consultation to address range of motion sensory strategies and techniques fine and gross motor activities as related to IEP goals under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR).Document data into the Individual Education Plan (IEP) through the use of district information technology systems. Maintain progress monitoring systems. Consult and collaborate with teachers and teams by suggesting ideas for classroom interventions.Train paraprofessionals as needed. Prepare and plan for groups or individual sessions. Collaborate with OTRs on a regular basis. Attend OT/PT professional learning meetings. Participate in continuing education courses or ongoing district professional development.Perform other job-related duties as must have:Experience with a wide range of disabilities Successful experience in public school settingsKnowledge of an array of interventions and supportsAbility to work with a teamExcellent oral and written language skillsSupport inclusionary practices
