Role description:
Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year programme designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. Youll benefit from training and development mentoring and assistance foraccreditations relevant to your programme as well as the support and guidanceyou need to develop and succeed. As a GROW graduate you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to assist you in gaining the skills you require to succeed.
As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants youll be responsible for your own deliverables liaising with clients and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. Youll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure urban regeneration and community focussed projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.
Role accountabilities:
Design & Construction Safety CDM & Building Regulations Roles - Join our Design & Construction Safety Team where we help manage and eliminate risks across all stages of construction projects supporting sectors such as Mobility Architecture/Urbanism Energy and Water.
You will assist in the delivery of project-related tasks such as carrying out initial site visits requesting reviewing & identifying gaps in the preconstruction information scope gap on adequate resources and sufficient time identifying specialist consultants supporting design development to ensure design and construction risks are eliminated or reduced to their lowest manageable level. Supporting effective buildability and developing health and safety files for project completion and handover.
We are recruiting for two roles within this team:
CDM (Construction Design & Management)
Building Regulations (BR)
An understanding of design engineering CDM and health & safety principles is helpful but not required. Please note that the site work element is critical to the learning and development within this team as such you may be expected to travel and be available for site work for a large proportion of your time.
