Navigating world energy and chemical markets is complex OPIS makes it the Role:You will work as part of a global team that is responsible for strategic long-term market forecasts for the chemical industry. You will support updates of chemical product supply/demand data and integrated long-term projections using advanced analytics and models and related publications. Specific responsibilities include data management participation in the development of new commercial products and product enhancements and projects to help improve data quality and process efficiencies. You will be part of a core global team and also work with our international product experts. This role is hybrid based in our Houston TX office. You Will:Participate in data and content updates and publications together with global team membersProvide support in gathering and auditing of input and output data Help with the creation and set up of internal models and client deliverablesYou Have:Completed at least two years toward a Bachelors degree preferably in chemical engineering chemistry or related fieldBY NEXT SUMMER YOU WILL BE: either a rising junior or rising senior in your undergrad knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint)Fluency in English written and spoken at a business levelExperience in Python or familiarity with other languages/ tools like R SQL and MongoDB desired.
