Job Summary:
Acrisure is seeking a Manager Corporate Accounting to join our growing team in Grand Rapids Michigan. This role will lead critical components of corporate accounting close process for a large complex fintech organization. This role ensures the accuracy integrity and timeliness of consolidated financial reporting while driving process improvements standardization and scalability to support a fast-growing global enterprise. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller the Manager will partner closely with global accounting teams FP&A tax treasury and external auditors.
This role requires a strong technical accounting background leadership skills and the ability to navigate a high-growth dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee key components of the monthly quarterly and annual corporate financial close processes ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
Support the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements supporting schedules and disclosures.
Drive continuous improvements in accounting close efficiency leveraging automation systems and standardized processes across global entities.
Collaborate with operational accounting teams to ensure alignment on policies reconciliations and reporting requirements.
Support internal and external audits by preparing audit-ready documentation and ensuring compliance with SOX/internal control requirements.
Develop mentor and lead a high-performing team of accounting professionals.
Partner cross-functionally with Finance FP&A Treasury Tax and Operations on close reporting and strategic initiatives.
Serve as a key liaison to external auditors ensuring smooth coordination of quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Contribute to special projects including system implementations process transformation and scaling initiatives aligned with company growth.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Strong understanding of internal controls SOX compliance and audit requirements.
Proven track record of driving process improvements and leveraging technology to streamline accounting operations (e.g. ERP consolidation tools).
Excellent leadership people management and team development skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
High attention to detail strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Education and Experience:
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA (required).
6 years of progressive accounting experience with people and process management experience.
Public accounting (Big 4 national or regional) and/or large global public company experience strongly preferred.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP consolidation and financial reporting; IFRS experience a plus.
