Summary:
Primary role is to handle sheet metal in various states of work in progress to assist in the manufacturing process.
Essential Functions:
Primary role is to handle sheet metal in various states of work in progress to assist in the manufacturing process.
Essential Functions:
- Sort sheet metal
- From a skeleton and place in a pile
- Collect finished sheet metal parts and place into racks
- Run full carts to the assembly stations
- Retrieve empty carts from the assembly line stations
- Count/inventory sheet metal on a needed basis
Qualifications/Skills:
- Entry level position. HS diploma preferred but not required.
- Self-starter and attention to detail a must.
Safety/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Requires bending stooping and standing.
- Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. (Overtime may extend time period.)
- Good visual and spatial perception.
- Follow established safety policies including but not limited to mobile equipment PPE emergency response HAZCOM first-aid response etc.
