This position is responsible for developing relationships with the Residential Interior Designer/Decorator/Architect to convert competitive paint brand preference increase product and color specification that will result in gallon and sales growth for the Residential Repaint Market.
Document Residential Interior Designers/Decorators/Architects information in their database and develop a call routine that will eventually convert the Residential Interior Designer/Decorator from the competition.
Have the ability to identify an Opportunity Account as well as the Residential Interior Designers/Decorators/Architects preferred paint brand.
Educate the Residential Interior Designer/Decorator/Architect on the features and benefits of Sherwin-Williams premium paint products through face-to-face scheduled appointments virtual presentations phone prospecting and email communication. Guide the Residential Interior Designer/Decorator/Architect on the benefits of specifying a specific Sherwin Williams product that will benefit the needs of their client.
Utilize Sherwin Williams employees and resources to provide technical assistance and samples to the Residential Interior Designer/Decorator/Architect.
Host various Residential Interior Designer/Decorator functions to help promote Sherwin-Williams brand including Continuing Education Units (CEU).
Gather Residential Painter leads from Residential Interior Designers/Decorators/Architects and distribute leads to the District Sales Manager or Residential Repaint Representatives.
Maintain an accurate and updated version of client database.
Educate and interface with District Division and Group colleagues to create a cohesive relationship. Work with the stores and Residential Repaint Reps to gather Residential Interior Designer/Decorator/Architect leads from our painters.
Provide management with competitive information relating to the Residential Interior Designer/Decorator/Architect market.
Provide color tools to local Interior Design Schools. Identify presentation opportunities at key schools.
Support local design organizations such as ASID by participating in meetings tradeshow and committees.
Develop and implement strategies for achieving goals and time management.
Provide Dashboards on a monthly basis and Concur Expense Reports on a biweekly basis.

Bachelor Degree in Business or Interior Design
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience as an SW Assistant Store Manager or prior experience in the Interior Design industry
