About the Role

My client is looking for a Data Architect to design and oversee the structure of their enterprise data platforms. This role will focus on building scalable secure and high-performing solutions that support analytics reporting and future AI initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to align architecture with business needs while ensuring best practices in governance and integration.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the organisations data architecture strategy.
Design scalable data models pipelines and storage solutions.
Oversee integration of data across multiple systems and platforms.
Ensure security compliance and governance standards are built into solutions.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
Work with data engineers and analysts to deliver reliable and consistent data products.
Provide technical leadership and documentation for data architecture best practices.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Data Architect or senior data professional.
Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS GCP or Azure).
Expertise in relational and non-relational database design.
Solid SQL and data modelling experience.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and orchestration tools.
Understanding of data governance quality and security frameworks.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
