Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Youth Health Services
Location: Phoenix AZ 85027
Schedule: Thursday Friday and Saturday 10-hour shifts (30 hours per week). Includes all weekends except Sundays. Occasional hours may exceed 30 but will not exceed 40. No overtime offered.
Pay Rate:$45 - $50/hour

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Youth Health Servicesfor an exciting job in Phoenix AZ.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona.
TB Skin Test.
Hepatitis B vaccination or documented declination of offered vaccine.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and respond to youth health concerns advising on appropriate treatments.
Obtain and process blood urine and other specimen samples.
Monitor record and report changes in vital signs or health conditions.
Administer medications and observe for potential adverse reactions.
Conduct intake health screenings for newly admitted youth.
Provide direct patient care and emergency care as needed.
Collaborate with the health services team to coordinate youth treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Ensure medical supplies and equipment are properly stocked.
Administer vaccinations and assist with annual tuberculosis (TB) testing.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory or health services leadership.

Strong knowledge of professional nursing methods and techniques.
Ability to observe assess and respond to patient behavior and progress.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to respond to medical emergencies effectively.
Ability to make independent clinical decisions.
Collaborative mindset to work with both professional and non-professional staff.
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
