About the Role
You will deliver rigorous and inspiring mathematics lessons across multiple year groups contributing to a department committed to high expectations and student progress. The role includes opportunities to lead enrichment programmes manage extension groups and integrate technology and data analysis into lessons. You will also collaborate in curriculum development moderation and tracking student achievement.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds QTS PGCE or equivalent
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
- Is able to teach GCSE and/or A-Level Mathematics or is eager to grow into that
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management analytical skills and a commitment to student success
- Has the legal right to work in the UK
The School
This mixed 1118 school which currently enrols around 830 students. The campus spans 19 hectares of grounds overlooking the River Trent offering a calm leafy setting for learning.
