About the Role
You will plan and deliver rigorous and inspiring History lessons across a broad age range contributing to a department that values deep enquiry critical thinking and connecting the past to current issues. There is scope to lead field trips develop local history projects and support cross-curricular links with subjects like Politics Geography and English. Teachers will benefit from high-quality department resources interactive displays digital archives and regular opportunities to innovate in pedagogy and assessment.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History
- Can teach GCSE and/or A-Level
- Is creative organised reflective and driven to help students make strong progress
- Has the legal right to work in the UK
