History Teacher Outstanding School in Warwickshire

We are delighted to be collaborating with a well-regarded 11-18 academy in Warwickshire seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced History Teacher. This is a full-time permanent role beginning January covering Key Stages 35 (GCSE & A-Level History).

About the Role
You will plan and deliver rigorous and inspiring History lessons across a broad age range contributing to a department that values deep enquiry critical thinking and connecting the past to current issues. There is scope to lead field trips develop local history projects and support cross-curricular links with subjects like Politics Geography and English. Teachers will benefit from high-quality department resources interactive displays digital archives and regular opportunities to innovate in pedagogy and assessment.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History
• Can teach GCSE and/or A-Level
• Is creative organised reflective and driven to help students make strong progress
• Has the legal right to work in the UK
