Responsibilities

• Deliver challenging and engaging Chemistry lessons up to A-Level and potentially pre-university level including practical and theoretical components.
• Commit fully to fostering scientific curiosity and excellent laboratory skills in a supportive well-resourced environment.
• Guide pupils through competitive university applications (e.g. Medicine Engineering Science degrees).
• Contribute actively to the wider intellectual life of the school running Science societies trips or lecture series as a dedicated Chemistry Teacher.
• Ensure the highest standards of academic rigour and discipline are maintained across all lessons.

Requirements

• A strong degree in Chemistry and a passion for science communication (PGCE/QTS not mandatory but valued).
• Proven ability to teach highly able students in a highly selective environment.
