Data Collection: 5/21/2025 Unit Information: Open Heart Location: Operating Room Address: 22999 US 59 Kingwood TX 77339 Floor: 1st floor Building: South Tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 457 beds; 14 ORs (1 Open Heart Room; In process of coordinating for 2 Open Hearts) Number of Staff 8 staff members (4 RNs 4 Techs) Type of staff: o Day Shift 7a-3p with call coverage after 3p and weekend call o Night Shift Call coverage Patient Ratios 1:1 Type of equipment Standard OR equipment EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Open Heart Cardiothoracic service line Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Other service lines (Trauma Gen Gyn Uro Ortho Neuro Plastics etc) Staff will be floated to other ORs when no open hearts scheduled List typical procedures performed on unit(s): CABG (with and without EVH) Impellas Pericardial windows Valve replacements ECMO Best personality Fit: Dependability and flexibility REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS ACLS Floating Area(s): Operating Room Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
