Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Trauma Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Medical-Surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from trauma orthopedic surgeries and neurological conditions. This is a full-time position with rotating day and night shifts including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with trauma orthopedic and neurological medical-surgical conditions.
• Monitor patient status including vital signs neurological assessments and response to treatments.
• Administer medications treatments and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans post-discharge instructions and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while promoting a healing environment.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in trauma orthopedic or neurological medical-surgical settings required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts including weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
