Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for an 11-week assignment in Elkins WV. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to patients ensuring high-quality compassionate and efficient care during the day shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor patients health conditions and report changes to the registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accordingly.
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-care instructions.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of West Virginia.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
