Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a 12-week night shift contract in Elkins WV. The LPN will provide direct patient care during the overnight hours ensuring the comfort safety and well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during the night shift including administering medications monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
- Document patient care and observations accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with registered nurses physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment following facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention as appropriate.
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of West Virginia.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
