Duration: 08-week

Shift: 12-hour Day 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $432 - $540; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team on the day shift for an 8-week contract in Elkins WV. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients assist nursing staff and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding.
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature pulse respiration and blood pressure.
Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs).
Help patients with mobility transfers and positioning.
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
Support patients emotionally and socially to promote well-being.
Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Active CNA certification in the state of West Virginia.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.
At least 6 months of recent CNA experience.
Ability to work 12-hour days shifts.
Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
