PRN - Registered Nurse (Evening Shift)
Location: Gloucester MA 01930
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Payrate: $40 - $45/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN (per diem) opportunity at a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Gloucester MA. The ideal candidate will have a background in long-term care or post-acute settings and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct resident assessments and update care plans accordingly
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor and report any changes in resident conditions
- Supervise LPNs CNAs and other healthcare support staff
- Accurately document all care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Ensure compliance with federal state and facility policies and procedures
- Provide compassionate and effective nursing care in a skilled nursing environment
Requirements:
- Active and valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Proficiency in EMR systems
- Strong communication critical thinking and leadership abilities
