About the Project
Join Duke Energys AppGen initiative - an AI-driven agentic application creator designed to build internal business applications from natural language prompts. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Angular enterprise UI development and Generative AI technology.
What Youll Do
- Architect develop and maintain complex Angular applications using the latest best practices.
- Implement advanced state management using NgRx (selectors effects reducers actions).
- Build and enhance UI components with Angular Material and SCSS ensuring responsive and accessible design.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs manage authentication flows and handle error handling.
- Partner with Generative AI engineers to evolve the product toward an agentic vision.
- Participate in code reviews architectural discussions and continuous process improvement.
- Troubleshoot and optimize app performance across multiple browsers and platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing.
What Were Looking For
- 5 years of professional Angular development experience.
- Mastery of RxJS and reactive programming patterns.
- Deep expertise in NgRx for state management.
- Strong UI/UX experience using Angular Material and custom SCSS.
- Proficiency in TypeScript ES6 and modern linting/code standards.
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and authentication/authorization workflows.
- Familiarity with Azure AD / MSAL / JWT authentication (plus).
- Proficient with GitHub Actions/Workflows and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest or experience in Generative AI is a major advantage.
