Job Opportunity: Application Owner EDI Interoperability Standards (FHIR)
- CMS Security Clearance Required.
Required Education:
One of the following:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- OR 4 years of job-related IT experience
- OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an associates degree in related field
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of technical experience in systems analysis design programming or other IT-related roles.
Required Skills & Technologies:
- Strong knowledge of Healthcare Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) and Interoperability Standards
- Experience with standards such as HL7 X12 FHIR
- Experience installing and configuring EDI COTS products in Linux/Unix environments
- Scripting experience: Windows Batch PowerShell Linux Shell and Python
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in managing and remediating security findings
- Bonus: Any exposure to AWS Cloud technologies
Nice to Have:
- Deep knowledge in EDI standards: HL7 X12 FHIR
- Experience as Product Owner or in customization of EDI COTS products
- Ability to install and maintain EDI products in the healthcare industry
- Strong communication skills to work with stakeholders lead proof of concepts and gather requirements
- Passion for learning and adapting to emerging technologies and standards
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Install administer and configure EDI COTS products in a healthcare environment
- Collaborate with internal teams and industry partners to develop new FHIR-based interoperability use cases
- Lead and participate in Scrum meetings
- Conduct proof of concepts with stakeholders using EDI/FHIR standards
- Take ownership of the application and its standards serving as a liaison between technical teams and business leaders

- This is an Application Owner role with a focus on EDI industry standards and product management
