Job Description
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement long-term IT strategies and roadmaps.
- Align solutions with organisational goals and business functions.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend best-fit solutions.
Architecture Development
- Design solution architecture models and detailed product specifications.
- Translate business and functional requirements into architectural designs.
- Provide expert input on integration performance and scalability of systems.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business units.
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
- Mediate technical conflicts and drive equitable architectural decisions.
Analysis & Support
- Conduct system analysis troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Guide the business on leveraging IT to improve operations and outcomes.
- Mentor team members and share architectural expertise.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Essential:
- Matric (Grade 12) and a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science Software Engineering or related.
- 12 years of relevant IT experience.
- Advantageous:
- Postgraduate qualification in a related field.
- Experience with IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
