Job Description
We are currently seeking a maintenance assistant to join our Estates Team to help uphold the high standards of our property.
As a Maintenance Assistant you will be responsible for carrying out a range of repair tasks to ensure our hotel remains safe functional and visually appealing. Your work will directly support our guest experience and contribute to the long-term upkeep of the property.
Assist in the inspection repair and maintenance of electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems.
Support daily maintenance operations including general building repairs painting carpentry and minor installations.
Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any faults or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
Help maintain tools equipment and work areas in clean and safe condition.
Assist with groundskeeping duties as needed including minor landscaping and outdoor upkeep.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from other departments or guests (where applicable).
Follow all company safety policies and procedures ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in general maintenance facilities or a similar role is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good physical condition and stamina to perform manual tasks.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility to work weekends evenings or on-call shifts when required. This is a full time permanent position 40 hours per week five days over seven Monday to Sunday.
