Roberts Polypro is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage Roberts inventory and shipping & receiving departments. This role reports to the Operations Manager and is located on-site in Charlotte.

Are you passionate about this work

  • Supervise a team of 2 to 4 employees within the shipping receiving and materials support roles.
  • Manage shipping and receiving logs and maintain files of shipping records.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks. Assure compliance with workplace safety procedures.â
  • Receive items by comparing packing lists with item number on purchase order and the actual part. Compare specifications drawings and quantities. Notify the supervisor of any discrepancies. Tags parts as needed move parts to proper location.
  • Ship items by comparing customer order with actual items being shipped to ensure correct items/lot numbers are shipped.
  • Track and record all inventory movements in Syteline.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts as required as well as full physical inventory counts when required for raw materials plastic parts and equipment parts.
  • Communicate with production scheduler and staff to determine status and manage deadlines of scheduled shipments.
  • Setup outgoing shipments via UPS/FedEx Trucks and Couriers. Supply information requested to setup 3rdparty shipments and shipments from remote locations.
  • Communicate with Account Representatives and Customers to clarify and adjust shipping requirements to meet needs.
  • Process outsource shipments and pickups with vendors.

  • 5 years experience with shipping/receiving inventory and order management processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 years experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with other departments employees and outside vendors.
  • Valid training certificate to operate fork truck job specific training is provided.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb.s to move shipments to hand truck.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
