In this role
As an employee Marketing & Internal Communications Intern at IDEXX youll have the opportunity to:
- Gain real-world experience: Dive headfirst into the exciting world of Employee Marketing & Internal Communications working alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you throughout your internship.

- Increase Employee Awareness by contributing to the further development roll-out and adoption of our Employee Benefits Platform.
- Keep the IDEXX Total Rewards package alive with employees by developing internal communication materials based on our Total Rewards Communications Calendar.

What You Will Need to Succeed
- You are a student of Communication or Marketing Business Management with a focus in marketing/communication or an HR student with excellent communication skills.
- You are a team player and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- You are passionate about marketing employee engagement and creating value for individuals.
- You bring a problem-solving and hands-on mentality and can multi-task.
- You are proactive and creative and always looking for opportunities to improve things when you see they can be done in a better way.
- You are eager to learn and ready to tackle new challenges.
- You are ready to make an impact from day one!
- You are fluent in written and spoken English. Additional European language skills will serve your candidacy with a great advantage.
Some practical aspects
- You are available to start at the beginning of January or February and can work with us 6 months full-time (40 hours a week)
- You will receive an allowance of 650 euros per month.
- You need to be enrolled as a student towards the attaining of a degree to be eligible for this internship and to count with your university approval to do the assignment. If you are not an European national you will also need to provide an approved Nuffic agreement. This is a work experience internship unfortunately not suitable for a thesis.
- Our office is located in Hoofddorp next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). We work in a hybrid format with a requirement to work a minimum of two times per week at the office the remaining days remote.
