The Position

Baking sweets and savoury morning and after tea items
Prepare fresh nutritious meals for students
Work with a small and supportive team
Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
Monitor stock and minimize wastage
Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
Assisting with retail lunch and dinner functions.
Work largely within school hours school term time and spend time where it counts - with family

The Person

Working with Children Check is essential or ability to obtain
Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
Superior knife handling skill
Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
Experience in a similar position advantageous
Eye for detail and great with time management
Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
