The State Of Vermont is looking for a Correctional Facility Superintendent II at Northern State Correctional Facility in Newport. The Facility Superintendent ensures the operations of their assigned correctional facility align with Vermont DOCs Mission Vision Values and Strategic Plan as defined by the Commissioner of Corrections.
The Facility Superintendent in collaboration with the Facilities Division Director and Management Team:
Candidates should have at least six (6) years of experience working in a requiring frequent interaction with correctional facility administration and incarcerated individuals with a correctional facility program or direct casework with correctional incarcerated individuals AND at least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a correctional role.
This position Correctional Facility Superintendent II - Exempt (Job Requisition #53415) is open to all State employees and external applicants.
