GAL AeroStaff. which provides specialized staffing and recruiting services in the Business & Commercial aircraft industry is presently seeking Aircraft Sheetmetal technician for a client based out of Ontario Canada. GAL AeroStaff is an internationally approved OEM service provider / supplier. We offer competitive salaries as well as a professional and ethical work environment.
We offer visa process for Colombian national applying for this position.
Job Description:
The selected candidates will be required to perform heavy maintenance on narrow body aircraft in Ontario Canada.
Main Duties:
- Assemble rivet drill and bond body structure or components of aircraft according to specifications;
- Read work orders blueprints and specifications to determine method of fabrication procedures and sequence of operations;
- Cure bonded structures using portable or stationary curing equipment;
- Communicate with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or expedite processing of repair parts;
- Clean strip prime and sand structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding;
- Fabricate parts using metal fabricating machines saws brakes shears and grinders;
- Assemble and fit aircraft and structural parts;
- Perform a subassembly;
- Align fit assemble connect or install system components using jigs fixtures measuring instruments hand tools or power tools;
- Other duties may be assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Minimum of 40hrs per week
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to speak read and write the English Language at a B2 level minimum.
- Must be able to work overtime any shift and weekends as required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background drug & medical screening subject to TCCA requirements and random substance abuse screening.
- Must have requisite basic tools prior to starting to work; tool list will be provided. Tools must be shadowed and engraved.
- Must have a technical college degree in aerospace or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in an MRO
