One year of food service experience or training in an institutional hospital military or commercial food service operation; OR
Twelve semester hours in food and nutrition dietetics or institutional management.

Job Duties:
Prepare cook and serve meals in accordance with facility menus and dietary guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen dining and storage areas
Supervise youth assigned to food service duties ensuring safety and compliance
Operate kitchen equipment and follow institutional food safety protocols
Assist with inventory storage and portion control
Uphold confidentiality mandatory reporting and trauma-informed care standards
Participate in PREA training and other required onboarding programs
