Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and innovative Computing Teacher to join a well-regarded Independent School in Bath starting January 2026.

This prestigious Independent School has approximately 950 students aged 1118 and an outstanding academic reputation with a thriving Sixth Form and a focus on digital innovation. The Computing department is exceptionally strong with 90% of GCSE students achieving grades 96 in 2024.

The school provides cutting-edge facilities including multiple IT suites robotics labs and opportunities for cross-curricular computing projects. Staff enjoy small class sizes strong leadership support and regular opportunities for professional development.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related subject
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Ability to teach Computing across KS3KS5
  • Enthusiasm for coding digital literacy and new technologies

Salary
Paid to scale (MPS/UPS Independent equivalent).
