Senior Payroll Specialist
Location: Sugar House - Salt Lake City UT
Salary: $60000 - $70000 DOE
Type: Full-Time On-site

What Youll Do
As a Senior Payroll Specialist youll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations across multiple states. Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with the payroll team to process accurate weekly payrolls
Managing payroll tax reporting and coordinating third-party payroll services
Ensuring compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations
Maintaining detailed payroll records and handling employee status updates
Investigating and resolving payroll-related issues in a timely manner
Generating and distributing regular payroll reports
Working closely with HR Finance and other departments to ensure policy alignment and payroll accuracy
What Youll Bring
Proven experience in payroll processing with a strong understanding of payroll regulations
Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Experience with Paylocity and multi-state payroll (strongly preferred)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance Business Administration or related field (preferred)
