Overview of the Role
Reporting to theManager International Trade the International Trade Technician will play a key role in supporting the teams daily operations to ensure the efficient handling ofinternational dairy imports and exports. This position requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Salary: From to $47320 to $62 110
*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience education skills and training.

How you will make contributions that matter:
Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external partners ensuring clear and timely communication.
Enter and maintain records of incoming and outgoing orders; update tracking schedules accordingly.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and transport companies to book shipments.
Process invoices promptly and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Understand import documentation requirements and prepare export documentation as needed.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
College diploma required.
Strong critical thinking skills business acumen and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines.
Bilingual inEnglish and French(spoken and written) is essential because the person will interact with various team members and stakeholders across Canada.
Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions.
1 year of experience in a similar role (preferred but not mandatory).
Knowledge of international trade practices is considered an asset.
