Location: United States
Salary: $110000-$130000 Bonus Potential (totaling up to 10% annually; paid in quarterly installments)

REMOTE Accounting Manager Outsourced Accounting (nonprofit accounting exp. req.) Description
Our client a highly regarded national advisory firm specializing in nonprofit organizations is seeking a Remote Accounting Manager to join their team of 25 across the this pivotal role you will supervise a team of two accountants while directly overseeing a portfolio of 4-7 nonprofit clients. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing financial reports and ensuring the accurate delivery of client deliverables. To be chosen for this role you must have both nonprofit and public accounting experience. If your CAS background is more related to audit support this would not be the best match. However if you are accustomed to leading client engagement and supporting end-to-end client accounting this would be an excellent fit. REMOTE Accounting Manager Outsourced Accounting (nonprofit exp. req.) Responsibilities
Oversee accountants (2) and oversee their work
Manage various client engagements and respond to inquiries
Employ new financial technologies for clients
Prepare client financial reports and ad-hoc reports for client delivery
Create and sustain financial data in various accounting platforms
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables
Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditure
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger account
Assist with clients annual audit work
Investigate and resolve audit findings and account discrepancies
Contribute to the development of new accounting systems
REMOTE Accounting Manager Outsourced Accounting (nonprofit accounting exp. req.) Qualifications
CPA or interest in pursuing a CPA required
Full-cycle nonprofit accounting experience required
Client accounting services/public accounting experience required
Strong background with journal entries and financial statement preparation required
QuickBooks Online experience required
Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs required
