This Position reports to:
Sales Support ManagerYour role and responsibilities
In this role you will focus on the Commercial Construction market segment in the Eastern USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing complex proposals by analyzing RFP documents and implementing strategic plans to create Clean Competitive Compliant and Compelling proposals. This role involves configuring products and collaborating with other proposal resources as needed. The goal is to produce clean executable orders that balance market competitiveness company profitability and customer needs. A deep understanding of the various products and markets served by the ABB Electrification business is essential for this position.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings Division in the U.S. (Preferably Eastern or Central time zone).
You will be mainly accountable to:
Develop Clean Competitive Compliant and Compelling proposals for projects in the Commercial Contractor segment ensuring adherence to all ABB processes and ensuring high-probability/high-profitability.
Collaborate closely with factory proposal teams application engineers product managers and Sales Managers/Reps to provide proposal development guidance and ensure clear and concise communication within Electrification Products U.S.
Attend Project Strategy/Risk Meetings as needed escalate for assistance when normal processes are not providing desired results and compete with Commercial Intensity to champion customer needs while balancing business objectives.
Proactively seek necessary training resources and guidance for continued growth and coordinate with project management to ensure that any won projects become fully executable and profitable orders.

Qualifications for the role
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (Engineering or related field preferred).
Deep technical knowledge of ABB electrical distribution product portfolio general industry design characteristics and configuration tools (ABB empower).
Minimum 10 years of experience working in the electrical distribution or related industry; Minimum 5 years of Sales and project quotations experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to leverage a wide variety of electronic tools to stay organized and communicate effectively remotely (e.g. Microsoft Outlook Teams etc.).
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
