Key Responsibilities
- Attending client meetingsand the art of the action item
- Compiling media coverage intoclient facingclip reports
- Researching reporters blogs and social media sites
- Trendresearch
- Drafting pitches and press materials
- Conducting customer interviews
- Writing press releases and blog posts
- Social media
- Advanced measurement and reporting
Requirements
- Based in San Francisco or New York
- College graduate
- A genuine interest in technology and tech companies
- An enthusiastic self-starter with a can do attitude
- An eye for detail and an ability to multi-task
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to navigate and master social media and social networking sites
- A background and/or experience in PR journalism technology and/or marketing is preferred
$20 - $20 an hour
This is a six-month paid internship with the potential for full-time employment upon successful completion.
The duties delineated above will vary depending on the needs of each specific account and in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. This individual will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisors.
