Location: Neptune NJ 07754
Duration:3 Months
Schedule: 3x12 (36 hours/week) 7:00 PM 7:30 AM Every other weekend required Pre-assigned holidays required No on-call Float required

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN to join our inpatient care team. The RN will evaluate patients collaborate with physicians and deliver evidence-based nursing care with a focus on oncology (leukemia & lymphoma). The role requires strong clinical judgment patient advocacy and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments identify care needs and develop individualized plans of care.
Implement and coordinate nursing interventions based on patient needs and physician directives.
Manage care for oncology patients in an inpatient setting.
Document nursing care according to standards of practice patient acuity and clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based practices and support innovation in patient care delivery.
Provide compassionate patient-centered care aligned with nursing professional practice models.
Float to other units as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology experience (inpatient leukemia & lymphoma focus).
Preferred Skills & Experience
None specified.
Education
Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN).
Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Certifications & Licensure
Required:
BLS (AHA).
Active NJ RN License or Multistate Compact License.
Preferred:
Telemetry Certification.
ONS Chemo Certification.
