About the Role
We are a data science-driven special investigations unit that uses data across employers insurers and contractors to prevent fraud in the insurance space with a focus on workers compensation and personal injury fraud. Were building smarter more predictive systems that will shape the future of fraud detection in blue-collar industries.
What Were Looking For
We need a talented Data Scientist to work at the intersection of data and engineering applying statistical analysis machine learning and thoughtful experimentation to uncover fraud and assess labor risk. You should have a strong problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills.
What Youll Do
- Design and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to detect fraudulent patterns.
- Analyze large-scale datasets to derive actionable insights for internal and customer-facing applications.
- Work cross-functionally with leadership engineering and users to align data initiatives with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to bring data science solutions into production.
- Shape the intelligence layer of our platform by applying thoughtful experimentation and model evaluation techniques.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1 - 5 years of experience working on data science projects in fraud/risk modeling cybersecurity or machine learning.
- This is an on-site role in Midtown New York NY.
Benefits
- Salary: $120k - $160k
- Equity: 0.25% - 0.5%
