Overview
The HarperCollins Retail Marketing team is seeking a summer intern! The Retail Marketing team is responsible for a wide range of things including independent bookstore trade shows liaising with publicity on our events program managing preorder campaigns specialized galley mailings and more.
Responsibilities
- Works with the Associate Director in the planning and preparation of Childrens Institute.
- Assists with bookseller follow up from Winter Institute.
- Executes Indie Next Mailings and Creates Indie Next reminder newsletters.
- Assists Director of Retail Marketing with Bookseller facing Newsletters
- Assists Associate Director in Fall Regional Planning and in-house Fall Preview
- Mails out ARCs to Booksellers.
- Takes notes at staff meetings & keeps team on track on all weekly action items.
- Attends various cross departmental meetings.
Qualifications
- Candidates who are available to work in a full-time capacity in 2026 or 2027 are eligible for this internship; open to rising seniors recent graduates masters students or entry level candidates with up to two years of work experience.
- Candidates must be available to work 28 hours per week Monday through Thursday from June 8 to August 13 2026 at our New York City office. This internship is compensated at a rate of $18 per hour.
