Finance
Finance is involved with everything that has a financial impact on the company including sales forecasting cost of goods production inventory and the balance sheet for a title imprint or division. Finance liaises with every other department regarding corporate perspective policies and systems. The Global Finance and Strategy teams are seeking an Intern to join their team of professionals. We are a fast-paced collaborative team that works closely with the CEO of Penguin Random House on a broad range of strategic and operational topics. The ideal candidate should be interested in a corporate financial strategy or an analytical role.
Some responsibilities may include creating a business analysis outlining problems including opportunities and solutions budgeting and forecasting planning and monitoring performing variance analyses developing account reconciliations data compilation and analyses ensuring accuracy and preparing special projects.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
Penguin Random House offers a 10-weekPAID REMOTEinternship opportunity available in our adult childrens and corporate divisions. Interns are exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels networking events and employee speaker series!
Summerinterns work for 28 hours per week and are paid $21/hour.
What you study does not matter! We are looking for your desire to work with books your drive to learn and your curiosity for the publishing industry.

REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY
- Must be ready to work full-time on or before June 2027 (You do not need to be enrolled in college or have a degree to apply to our internship program).
- Able to work 28 hours/week throughout the program
- Available and commit to the program working June 8th 2026 August 13th 2026
- Must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship program
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have strong organization communication and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of PowerBI
- Expected bachelors degree in business finance or a related field is preferred
