INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Penguin Random House (PRH) Legal Department is seeking a first-year law student for a Summer 2026 line with PRHs mission to ignite a universal passion for reading by creating books for everyone and our companys commitment to increasing outreach to all potential candidates applicants from underrepresented backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
Interns will be exposed to a wide range of legal disciplines including defamation copyright right of publicity privacy trademark and commercial law. They will conduct legal research review books for legal concerns draft contracts and assist PRHs legal team in tackling the variety of challenges associated with being the worlds largest publisher of English language books.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
Penguin Random House offers a 10-weekPAID REMOTEinternship opportunity available in our adult childrens and corporate divisions. Interns work four days a week (Monday through Thursday). The program is run out of PRHs New York Headquarters but offers remote flexibility. Compensation is $21 per are exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels networking events and employee speaker series!
Summerinterns work for 28 hours per week and are paid $21/hour.
