About the Role

The Expand Core Channels group is focused on broadening the reach and impact of Attentives messaging platform by building experiences that allow marketers to connect with consumers across SMS email and emerging channels.

As part of this group the Email team is dedicated to shaping the future of our email marketing channel one of the most critical and fastest-growing areas of the business. We design and build user-friendly performant tools that make it easy for marketers to craft preview and launch high-impact email campaigns at scale. Joining the Email team means your work will directly influence how global brands communicate with millions of subscribers every day.

This is a hybrid role based in our New York City office with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday. Because lets be honestwhiteboards are more fun in person.

What Youll Accomplish

Develop and maintain scalable frontend applications that power Attentives enterprise-grade email marketing platform.
Build intuitive responsive UIs that enable marketers to design personalize and optimize email campaigns.
Collaborate closely with product managers designers and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features that enhance the email creation and delivery experience.
Improve code quality through reviews testing and adherence to best practices.
Identify and address technical debt to ensure long-term maintainability of our frontend codebase.
Contribute to frontend technical decisions and stay current with emerging technologies to improve developer velocity and product performance.

Your Expertise

3 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on frontend engineering.
Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Experience contributing to high-scale applications used by enterprise customers.
Strong understanding of frontend architecture state management and performance optimization.
Experience collaborating with designers and product managers to translate wireframes and prototypes into production-ready code.
Familiarity with GraphQL RESTful APIs and working alongside backend services.
Solid understanding of frontend testing and CI/CD practices.
Excited by new technologies but intentional about adopting the right tool for the problem.

What We Use

Our infrastructure runs primarily in Kubernetes hosted in AWSs EKS
Infrastructure tooling includes Istio Datadog Terraform CloudFlare and Helm
Our backend is Java / Spring Boot microservices built with Gradle coupled with things like DynamoDB Kinesis AirFlow Postgres Planetscale and Redis hosted via AWS
Our frontend is built with React and TypeScript and uses best practices like GraphQL Storybook Radix UI Vite esbuild and Playwright
Our automation is driven by custom and open source machine learning models lots of data and built with Python Metaflow HuggingFace PyTorch TensorFlow and Pandas
