Job Summary
Strategic Monitoring Lead
We are seeking a seasoned professional based in Guatemala City Guatemala to lead a high-profile monitoring and evaluation initiative in partnership with the U.S. Embassy ensuring strategic oversight effective coordination and delivery of actionable insights.
Purpose of the Role
To serve as the project manager and primary liaison between the contractor and the U.S. Embassy Public Diplomacy (PD) section ensuring alignment of all monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities with the Embassys objectives and U.S. foreign policy goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the designated Point of Contact (POC) for contract execution.
- Lead planning and coordination sessions define objectives outcomes and data requirements.
- Oversee development of logic models monitoring frameworks and after-action reviews.
- Ensure timely submission of all planning documents meeting reports and comprehensive analytical reports.
- Manage communications proactively address adjustments and oversee compliance with performance standards and deliverables.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of technical and monitoring staff.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Public Policy International Development or related field.
- Minimum 7 years managing M&E or grant/contract oversight projects preferably with U.S. government or international organizations.
- Strong leadership reporting and client-relationship skills.
- Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting and compliance requirements.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
