Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Bartender for a prestigious luxury property group based in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-end hospitality team delivering world-class service in a refined setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with the establishment s quality standards
Engage with guests in a professional and welcoming manner providing exceptional service
Recommend drinks based on customer preferences and knowledge of mixology
Ensure the bar is fully stocked organized and clean at all times
Maintain inventory monitor stock levels and assist with stock orders when needed
Adhere to responsible service of alcohol guidelines and all relevant health and safety standards
Handle payments operate the POS system and ensure accurate cash-ups
Contribute to creating a warm welcoming and elegant atmosphere for guests
Assist with bar setup and breakdown during events or service periods
Work collaboratively with the restaurant and events team to ensure seamless guest experiences
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as a bartender in a luxury or fine dining environment
Strong knowledge of cocktails wines spirits and bar operations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Well-presented energetic and service-oriented
Ability to multitask in a high-pressure fast-paced environment
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and public holidays
A team player with a positive can-do attitude
Mixology certification or wine knowledge is a plus
