Job Summary

Job Opportunity: C# Developer Stellenbosch Cape Town

Type: Full-time Permanent

Work Setup: Hybrid (2 days in-office Stellenbosch)

As a C# Developer you ll be directly involved in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) shaping coding and refining solutions from concept to launch

What you will be doing:

Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business and technical requirements into powerful product deliverables.

Turn requirements into technical specifications and carry out impact analysis of proposed solutions.

Implement specifications and develop innovative new features.

Manage version control with Git updating tools merging code and maintaining development streams.

Conduct product testing before handing over to QA.

Showcase your work in product demos and contribute to user documentation.

Work independently or as part of a team always encouraged to share insights and solutions in a collaborative space.

Requirements

What you ll bring:

An IT qualification or 3 years experience in a similar software development role.

Solid experience with:

o C#

o .Net Core 3.1

o Restful APIs

o Source Control (Git)

o Entity Framework Core

Bonus skills (nice-to-have):

o Atlassian Suite (Jira Confluence)

o Domain Driven Design (DDD)

o Distributed Computing (Microservices)

o Knowledge/experience in insurance insurtech financial services or fintech
