Job Summary

A luxury game lodge is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Field Guide to join its guiding team. The role requires someone with in-depth bush knowledge exceptional guest engagement skills and the ability to deliver unforgettable safari experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead game drives and guided bush walks offering guests insightful and memorable experiences.
Share expert knowledge of wildlife ecology and conservation in an engaging and professional manner.
Ensure the safety and comfort of guests at all times during activities.
Contribute to guest satisfaction by delivering world-class hospitality and personalized service.
Assist in mentoring and supporting junior guides helping to maintain high guiding standards across the lodge.
Participate in conservation initiatives and represent the lodge s ethos of sustainability and environmental responsibility

Requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 5 years guiding experience within a luxury lodge or safari environment.
Recognised Nature Site Guide qualification (NQF2 or NQF4).
Valid driver s license and PDP.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills with a passion for people.
Strong tracking bush craft and 4x4 driving abilities.
Professional well-presented and adaptable in a dynamic lodge environment.
A deep respect for nature wildlife and conservation.
